Tie-rod end hydraulic cylinders are typically constructed with a cylindrical barrel, end caps, piston, piston rod, seals, and tie rods. The barrel houses the piston, which divides the cylinder into two chambers: the rod side (where the piston rod extends from) and the cap side (opposite the rod side). The piston rod extends through one end cap and is connected to the load being moved.
